A Ladybirds class begins with action songs and movement, which develop a sense of rythm, as well as helping with speech development and coordination.
We then introduce bright and stimulating equipment to help increase muscle tone and encourage balance skills. This is a great time for parents/grand parents etc and babies to socialise and learn activities to play at home. To conclude we use a parachute and have fun watching the colours spin round and shake light balls and balloons on top. Babies need to be walking steadily before moving onto our Butterflies (usually 16-18 months). We keep some songs the same so it is not too daunting, and find that all children very quickly settle in and enjoy a new challenge.| Day | Time | Class | Venue | Friday | 10.15-11.00 | Ladybirds | St. Mary’s Church |
